Deck Watch “Prestige”

This timekeeping device of high accuracy has an excellent movement with a lever escapement. Its average tolerance is held within +9/-9 seconds per day. The case diameter is 53 mm.

Depending on the customer's preferences, the watch case is available in two designs: gold-plated or rhodium-finished. Their combinations are also available if desired. The case back is made of mineral crystal to expose the beautiful movement. Its "Prestige" status is given due to the skeleton movement with intricate openwork and engraving. At the customer’s request, the movement can also be jewel-encrusted.

The movement of the deck watch consists of over 500 parts, all of them being handmade and individually assembled with great care and precision by our specialists. The acceptable tolerance for components is as low as 0,001 millimetres to achieve better performance.

Our first deck watch was designed in 1952. Since 1953 the model has been in production and is still available for purchase.

This timekeeping device serves as a backup and enables sailors to perform nautical observations and measurements at different points on a ship's deck.

Currently, work is underway for the development of a shock-resistant system for the balance wheel to withstand shock. Besides, the “Prestige” set includes a varnished wooden mounting box with gold-plated decorative elements.

Deck watches are not only a must for professional sailors, but they can also be a wonderful gift for those in love with the sea and ships. Deck watches of various designs are often presented to both: naval officers and close friends. At the customer's request, the dial and design of the watch can be altered to give it a touch more individuality.

The assembly and testing take at least 60 working days.</div
