We have been waiting long for this moment and now we are ready to introduce our latest model of an automatic watch named K-278 *.

At the beginning of September, we launched the production of two models from our collection in fiberglass cases.

Did you know that fiberglass is a fiberglass-based polymer with increased strength and lightness? In 2017 the 6MX manufacture announced a release of a new watch collection made of this innovative material. Since then, several thousand fiberglass watches have been manufactured and sold. The most popular model in the collection has a yacht timer function. It does not come as a surprise that many yachtsmen have become the owners of these wristwatches.

A world-famous Russian  yachtsman Igor Zaretsky  took part in the creation process of one of the new models. The key concept developed from a conversation in which he shared his views on what features a wristwatch should have for sea and ocean travel. These are the ship's time, the current time zone, and a 24-hour scale for polar latitudes and submariners. And, of course, all watches of this model are waterproof up to 20 atm, as required for all timepieces designed for maritime activities. This new model has recently entered the collection of two of the world's famous yachtsmen: Igor Zaretsky and Jean-Luc Van Deng Head. No complaints. Only positive feedback.

The second model of the watch in a grey fiberglass case is notable for the fact that the battery installed in the Seiko quartz movement is charged from the solar battery placed under the translucent dial of the watch. Once fully charged, the watch works for at least 90 days. The battery has a service life of over 12 years. In addition, more important, it can be charged even from the weakest light source.

The functionality of this new model is impressive: it allows you to use the watch as a split-chronograph to measure several time intervals simultaneously up to 30 minutes. At 3 o’clock, the 24-hour scale informs about the time of day. The date "window" is located between "4" and "5" o’clock. The second hand of the chronograph at 6 o'clock indicates the battery level.

On August 22, employees of  the Poljot-Chronos watchmaking company held a corporate regatta at the Orekhovaya Bukhta yacht club. The regatta was organized to introduce our employees to sailing and promote the 6MX brand.

Seven teams participated in the sailing race on yachts of the quarter-ton class. Many yacht skippers are celebrated sailing champions. During the race, the employees learned the basics of controlling a boat and, undoubtedly, developed the team spirit. And most importantly, everyone had the opportunity to appreciate the advantages of the yacht timer during the regatta. This is how professional watchmakers get closer to those who use technically sophisticated products manufactured by 6MX.

The regatta was organized thanks to  one of the best yacht teams in the country – VENTO. It is the second season when the sailing team competes with our logo on their sails..

For the second year in a row, 6MX/strong> contributes to the prize fund (offering discount certificates) in various regattas.

It has already become a tradition that a sailing team of the quarter-ton class competes with the 6MX logo on their sails. We have always been unstinting in our support for maritime activities and sailing, in particular.   

 Since 2016, the 6MX manufacture has produced a fine collection of watches specially designed for yachtsmen and people in the navy.

During the festival “Armada Rouen 2019” the crew of the barque «Kruzenschtern»had a chance to meet with the world-famous yachtsman Jean-Luc Van Den Heede, the winner of the Golden Globe Race. His visit was specially arranged to meet the young professionals and share his valuable experience. At the meeting, the renowned French sailor narrated about 211 days of non-stop racing and had a question-and-answer session at the end of the talk. 

The meeting was organized by a representative of the 6MX watch manufacture together with the administration of the Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy.  6MX watchmakers prepared two watches as a token of our gratitude to the yachtsman. One of the watches presented to Jean-Luc is the final model in the series "Kapitanskie".

The other model is from the new collection of  fiberglass watches, which is scheduled to be launched in serial production in July - August 2019. Russian yachtsman Igor Zaretsky, who also took part in the round-the-world race, has already become a proud owner of this model. 

On May 23, 2019 , a traditional grand ball was held for the Council of Young Diplomats of the MFA of Russia.

This annual meeting traditionally brought together members of the Council and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Diplomatic Academy, various federal ministries and departments, employees and graduates of MGIMO, as well as cultural figures.

The gifts presented to outstanding diplomatic workers included wristwatches from the 6MX collection.
